Meet Dr. James C. Fischer
Dr. Fischer attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Following graduation, Dr. Fischer stayed in San Antonio, TX where he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with a distinction in Dental Education. While in dental school, Dr. Fischer began to develop a desire to help patients beyond what routine dental care can provide. It became clear that advanced specialty training would be necessary to provide the high level of care that he wanted to provide to his patients. Following dental school, Dr. Fischer was accepted to the Prosthodontic specialty program in Dallas, TX. During his three-year residency program, Dr. Fischer obtained advanced training in restoring both esthetics and function to patients with dental needs ranging from simple to complex. Working alongside other dental specialists (oral surgeons, periodontists, endodontists, and orthodontists), optimal care and results were routinely achieved. Dr. Fischer completed his residency training, earning both a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Fischer successfully completed written and oral board examinations and is a board certified Prosthodontist and fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists.
